Managed Backups and SAN

Servecentric manage, replicate and store clients’ data and applications either remotely from the data centre or from the clients’ premises. The Managed Data Services are designed for clients without an existing data management infrastructure in plan; those clients with an existing IS infrastructure who wish to optimise overheads of outsourcing discrete IS functions; and for clients who are implementing discrete projects and require additional IS resources. Servecentric provides a 24x7 Always On Environment ensuring minimum application downtime, minimum loss of information and increased operational performance.

MANAGED BACKUPS

  • 24x7 safe and secure environment
  • Servecentric utilise CommVault Galaxy® Backup & Recovery software.
  • CommVault Galaxy software makes it easy to browse and find data, select as little or as much as is needed, and then recovers it quickly and efficiently.
  • Point-and-click reporting saves time and helps ensure that jobs are completed without incident.
  • A copy of every completed backup report can be automatically sent to the customer following backup jobs.
  • Daily incremental backups and weekly full backups are completed as standard.
  • Onsite fireproof safe storage, as well as an offsite storage facility, is available for safe keeping of backup tapes.

MANAGED SAN

  • 24x7 safe and secure environment
  • Servecentric provide multiple SAN solutions, both dedicated to individual clients or on a shared infrastructure basis.
  • Servecentric currently operate MTI, Pillar and DELL/EMC equipment
  • Client servers can be connected to SAN storage volumes of the required sizes, and can be connected (with resilient fibre links if required) to Servecentric’s fibre mesh.
